Christmas has come and gone. Santa has dropped his packages of goodies for all the children of the world and we gear up for the big 2007. The year of the Transformers movie (don't laugh, I saw the trailer on You Tube and the special effects weren't half bad), Season 3 of Doctor Who, and move fun than you can shake a stick at.
And I'm just sitting back right now having fun. I just finished reading Bloodlines from the Legacy of the Force Star Wars book series and am about to start the third novel "Tempest." I enjoyed the second book--not half bad.
So what have I been doing with my time? I'm visiting family, celebrating the holiday, playing Dance Dance Revolution, having some great fun with my wife and son, and last night we had a blast. Six children from the ages of 2 to almost 10 years of age were running around while all the parents took turn watching the kids and played games such as Apples to Apples and I got one game of Magic The Gathering in. All in all we had lots of fun. And, honestly, that's what I need right now. Time to recharge the old batteries and say screw you to working on projects around the house or on writing work. I just need to be free. And with that, I'm off.
Be safe, have fun, and Happy New Year!
I won. Blue prevails!
