With the Christmas holiday fast approaching, I'm caught up in preparations and I've not had a lot of free time. I expect that my updates to the site will be few and far between between now and the New Year as I will be taking time off to spend with family and friends.
I did want to reflect back and simply say that it's been a hectic year but one filled with lots of work and excitement for my writing career. I've also started paving the path for more freelance work in 2007 and hope to make/find time to do more fiction research--where to shop around my novel and stories.
But I mostly simply wanted to wish everyone the best of the holiday season no matter what holiday they celebrate. For me, it's Christmas and I want to be thankful for all that I have and for all where I have come. It's been a long, long, road filled with all sorts of surprises and triumphs and failures, but I guess that's what life is about--learning along the road that we call the day to day.
Enjoy the holiday, enjoy your family, enjoy life. Peace.
